Great Author Books in our Library
Susan Ross
Is a great children's author who has written several humourous books: The Great Belly Button Cover-Up, Say Please to the Bees, Lily and the Rose and The Kit Cat Caper. Susan Ross visited our school on Friday May 18th to share her stories with our primary classes. All of our students enjoyed her visit and some students even purchased her books and crafts.

Eric Walters
Is a fabulous Canadian author that was born and raised in Toronto. Eric was a teacher for many years and wrote his first book for his class to help them learn about their local community.
The Emma King School Library has over 30 books that he has written including his first book "Stand Your Ground. Check out all of his books, that our library has, by going to the Home Page and start searching using "SCOUT" the TLC program.

David Skuy
Is another great Canadian Author who writes books around the theme of sports, mostly hockey. Daivd also lives in Toronto like Eric Walters but David is also a Lawyer in addition to being a writer. Melanie Watt
Is a Canadian author, famous for her Scaredy Squirrel and Chester books. She has actually written many other books such as "Have I got a book for you!" and "You're Finally Here!". Melanie's books are very humorous and great fun to read. Come to the library and signout one of her great books.
